I know you may feel that you have tried EVERYTHING already. Well, sometimes all you need is a partner, who can take a look at your daily lifestyle and maximize the open opportunities. As a health coach I can help you create the time you need to be active and exercise.
Let me give you just a few examples.
Valuable minutes and hours are wasted every day on social media. Make a bold move and unplug from your smart phones. The time away from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc., etc. could easily add up to 30-60 minute workout session, or power walk around your neighborhood.
Stop binge watching television.
Sure it’s okay to catch up on a show or 2 but not an entire season in one sitting! So much opportunity here for exercise is lost. Before you cuddle up on the couch, use 30 minutes to get moving! There are a variety of exercises that can be performed even while watching TV. Chair workouts are a great option if you want to stay seated.
Stop JUST talking about it.
During the day I hear several conversations about needing to exercise, be active, reduce weight, and get healthy. Often these are prolonged topics of discussion while sitting or standing around. I recommend using the time and energy to move! You can do this by walking outside, using the stairs instead of the elevator, or even dancing during a break. The goal is to replace talking about what you need to do with doing what you need to do.
I understand everyone has unique needs and maybe you don’t do any of the above mentioned points. I challenge you to evaluate where you spend your time and ask yourself Am I making time for my health and well-being? If the answer is no feel please to contact me and let’s work together to change that.
